Every Calypso store has a different theme and this makes interesting shopping since you are always surprised and might find something special.  Owner Christiane Celle’s native Caribbean is reflected in the colorful beach wear and silk skirts.  While these and Calypso’s candles and fragrances are found in every store, other ethnic items from India to Italy are varied across the different NY boutiques. Calypso has also migrated into jewelry and accessories in Calypso Bijoux with designers trying to capture those Caribbean moments.
