Roppongi Hills is a city within a city development created by Minoru Mori. It includes everything from a TV studio to a museum with of course offices, residences, shops, restaurants, cafes, and movie theatres. The centerpiece is the Mori tower which houses in its top floors the museum and Tokyo City View – giving panoramic views of the entire city which are definitely worth seeing especially at twilight!
For the first time visitor, the shopping areas are a bit of a labyrinth though you can find friendly information attendants trying to help. Almost every designer and brand is present and can be found by wandering through the various impressive though at times sterile shopping areas.
Shops include Mulberry, Versace, Banana Republic, Emma Hope, Escada, Lulu Guinness, Sigerson Morrison and Zadig & Voltaire.
The Keyakizaka Dori section is known as the Rodeo Drive of Tokyo since it has boutiques from Gucci, Armani, and the like along a curving drive.
