One of our favourite shops in London. From the outside it looks like a small standard multi-brand collection with nothing special to recommend it. Once you start browsing through the racks of clothes, with shoes below and hats above, you realize that it is the most whimsical collection of clothes from various designers you have liked in the season!
Exquisite taste and an unusual talent for blending different designer pieces result in showing the clothes to the best possible effect that can be achieved on a rack. Designers include Balenciaga, Chloe, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang, Missoni, Dries Van Noten, and newer talents such as Veronique Branquinho and Tsumori Chisato.
Two little nitpicks though – the large faux jewelry showcases in the middle of the floor are a little bit kitsch, and what’s with the name? Isn’t Koh Samui an island off Thailand where the only clothing on display is a bikini thong ??
