Galeries Lafayette is in the grand tradition of the full service department store.  Further the building is a designated historical monument with its glass dome and Art Nouveau staircase which means you are adding to your cultural quotient while shopping! 

The Ladies Corner is actually a whole floor with designers ranging from Agnès b. to Vivienne Westwood.  All the luxury brand names are represented in the Bag Corner and then there are the accessories and shoes.  If you tire you can rest your feet and dine gracefully at the restaurants or just pop into Lafayette Gourmet for a quick snack to pick you up!

The location to visit is the one on Blvd Haussmann where you lose yourself for hours without getting bored – though you will exit with your wallet noticeably lighter.
