Bloomingdale’s is the epitome of the classic department store providing a wide selection of brands, styles and price levels. As with most department stores, the entry level is dedicated to cosmetics, fragrances, and accessories.
While there is still a nod towards haute couture on the seventh floor, the bulk of the women’s clothing is in designer’s second lines such as D&G, DKNY, and Lauren and more affordable fashion labels such as Elie Tahari, Nanette Lepore, and Juicy Couture.
Men’s wear, children’s wear, home furniture and home accessories round out the offerings. Bloomingdale’s is now part of the Federated chain which also includes Macy’s.
