The flea market at Vanves on the south side of Paris, though much smaller than its counterpart on the north side, has much more of the air of a true flea market. 

With over 400 stalls, you can find antiques to xylophones and everything in between.  You might be lucky and find a real steal in vintage clothing, if not it is a nice weekend adventure anyway!
