Today, Sonia’s daughter, Nathalie Rykiel, still designs some of the most elegant sweaters around with a creative use of the full range of wools. The fitted cut, inside out seams, scrawls and stripes, are all constituents of the essence of Rykiel.
With several stores in Paris in and around Rue Grenelle, Sonia Rykiel has branched out into men’s wear, and a younger, more affordable second line Sonia by Sonia Rykiel.
