Yurkievich has an impressive resumé having worked with Gaultier and Mugler. 

His urban avant garde designs are created with long sharp lines and interpreted with glamorous fabrics.  He is in the leading pack of young French designers who are creatively combining urban chic with traditional French design and a hint of raciness. The intertwined motif of rock and retro sets off his designs for women and men quite well and his shoes have a following among fashionistas.

Yurkievich was one of the first designers to open a store in the low profile Rue Charlot in Paris.
