Jil Sander is in the classic Teutonic mold, uncompromising on material, quality, fit and finish to end up with outstanding clothing which while not flam buoyant is fashionable for years.  However, the company is now owned by a British investment firm and has a Belgian designer (Raf Simons) � Ms Sander has nothing to do with it.  So far Mr. Simons has demonstrated a competent hand at keeping the brand afloat, though it remains to be seen what direction the brand is going to take in the future.  There are a women�s collection and a men�s collection, handbags and shoes all with prices near the top end.
