The creations here are not for the faint-of-heart or for wallflowers.  Dolce & Gabbana collections are flashy, glittery, and above all sexy.  But under it all what keeps this brand going is the design inspired by the here-and-now underpinned by superior craftsmanship.  They have the knack of converting the current yearning of the metrosexuals into extremely desirable apparel.  It doesn’t hurt that they party with the beautiful music and film crowd and in turn their designs are on Oscar carpets courtesy Kidman and on soundstages barely covering Madonna, Kylie, and Jennifer! 

The store on Madison Avenue is worth a visit even if it just to be slightly shocked at the vibrancy, revel in the irony, and enjoy the good-natured fun of it all.  Don’t be surprised to find yourself falling in love with that very special piece and decadently dropping a four figure sum for it!
